All Karndean floors benefit from the K-Guard+ surface protection system, which provides a hygienic and durable finish that will protect your floor for years to come. This protection layer will protect your floor against scuff marks, stains and fine scratches that you may expect to get from your pets.

Karndean Designflooring can be installed over underfloor heating providing they have been insulated so that the surface temperature does not exceed 27°C (80°F).  It is important to ensure that your underfloor heating system is compatible with Karndean flooring ahead of installing your floor.

To keep your Karndean floor looking great for years to come we recommend regular cleaning with Karndean Clean or a pH neutral cleaner as it will help to break up and safely remove any germs that are on the surface of your floor. Follow the simple steps below:

• Remove any dust or dirt with a soft brush
• Add 50ml of Karndean Clean to 8-10 litres of clean water
• Mop your floor with the mixture ensuring you remove any excess liquid
• Allow your floor to dry

In addition we recommend you use the Karndean Remove & Refresh every six to twelve months.  Karndean Remove helps to prepare your floor and the Karndean Refresh creates a satin finish to your floor helping protect it from marks and fine scratches.

If you are wanting to install your new floor over an existing floor such as ceramic tiles or floorboards, then we recommend you choose a Rigid Core installation such as Van Gogh or Knight Tile.

Yes Karndean floors are suitable for use on stairs.  You need to ensure that the front edge of each step is finished off with a compatible stair nosing.

Yes we stock a great range of Karndean accessories including adhesives, design strips, scotias and tools to help with installing your new floor and cleaning products to help your floor stay looking great for years to come.

Whilst Karndean floors are a great choice for bathroom flooring they are not suitable for use in wet rooms.
