How to Install Karndean Flooring

Karndean takes the chore out of installation. They offer a range of different luxury vinyl tile flooring options with three different methods for installation:

Karndean Glue Down – With this option, the luxury vinyl tile is installed using a high-quality adhesive to bond vinyl to the surface beneath. The result? A floor that withstands the test of time, even in high traffic areas like hallways.  Glue down is a great option if you want a truly unique floor as you can use different laying patterns, design strips and decorative boarders.

Karndean LooseLay – Are you looking for convenience without compromising on style?  Karndean LooseLay is laid directly on the floor, using its heavy weight and unique K-Wave friction grip backing, this flooring allows for stability as well as simple installation and removal.  They are a great choice for loft conversions and upstairs rooms where you need superior acoustics. You must ensure the subfloor has been expertly prepared and is level, dry and clean before installing your new floor.

Karndean Rigid Core Click –  This revolutionary click-locking system simplifies installation, eliminating the hassle of adhesive. This makes installation a fast and easy process so they are a great choice for DIYers.  They also benefit from superior acoustics, so they are a great choice for upstairs rooms and loft conversions.
