Quick-Step’s Leather Oak Extra Matt is a stunning engineered wood floor that is perfect for any home. The ‘Wood for Life’ technology helps to prevent mud, spills and other dirt from getting trapped in the joints and texture of the wood, while the Uniclic Multifit click system makes installation fast and easy. This floor is also compatible with underfloor heating, and has the look and feel of real wood.

What makes the Quick-Step Cascada watertight?

• Water-repellent coating – This water-repellent coating makes sure the surface and edges of the wooden floor are better protected against dirt and moisture. The floor is protected but keeps its natural, matt, beautiful finish.
• New watertight click – For Cascada, Quick-Step developed a brand new and improved Uniclic Multifit click design that ensures a tight fit on all sides, making sure no water can seep through the planks. On top of that the Hydroseal coating on all 4 sides of the planks stops all water from leaking through and causing damage to the bottom of your floor.

Installation & Maintenance Information

Follow these steps for a fully watertight finish with your wooden floor:

1. Underlay: an underlay protects your floor against rising moisture. Select your Quick-Step underlay
2. Floor: make sure to provide an expansion joint of 8 to 12 mm between the walls and floor.
3. Foamstrip: install the foamstrip in the expansion joint between the wall and your floor.
4. Hydrokit: apply the Hydrokit on top of the foam strip.
5. Install your water-resistant skirtings (white or colour-matched).
