Installation Information

Kronotex Herringbone is the perfect way to add a touch of class to your home. Unlike parquet flooring, Kronotex Herringbone is easy to install yourself, with no special knowledge or tools required. Simply snap the panels together using the “Clic” system, and you’ll have a beautiful new floor in no time. Before installation, however, follow a few basic rules to keep your new floor looking its best. For more information read our Kronotex Herringbone installation guide, or watch the following video.

To ensure the product is installed in line with Kronotex fitting guidance, Best at Flooring recommends the use of TimberPro2 Silver 2mm Underlay or the TimberPro3 Gold 3mm Underlay along with the Sanders & Fink PVA D3 Adhesive with Kronotex Herringbone. Kronotex does not recommend fitting their herringbone floors through door thresholds, so laminate door thresholds should be used.
