As one of the softer species of wood, many believe walnut flooring to not be as strong and durable as other options available on the market. However, whilst that may be true for the solid walnut flooring, the same can’t be said for our selection of engineered walnut products, which are expertly crafted with a multi-layer construction giving them the strength and stability you’d expect from an engineered wood floor. As with other engineered floors, this makes our walnut engineered wood flooring resistant to changes in temperature and humidity, and therefore suitable for use in partnership with underfloor heating systems.

Like other species, engineered walnut flooring is available in a range of styles, including straight plank and parquet, as well as different finish options such as smoked, oiled and lacquered.

Caring for your walnut floor is just as simple as it would be for other species. Regular sweeping or dry-mopping will help ensure that your floor is free from dust, dirt and debris, with the occasional vacuum also proving effective for this task.
