The Elka laminate flooring collections comprise of 8mm Aqua Protect, V-Groove 12mm and V-Groove 8mm ranges, each containing a number of laminate floors in a number of different styles and shades, expertly replicating natural timber in a range of shades, from the dazzling Frosted Oak to the sultry Sienna Oak. The v-groove technology which Elka have applied is described by the brand as an “advanced bevel edging which helps to create a look that reflects the natural qualities of wood flooring”, meaning your flooring looks all the more authentic when compared to other laminates and even some natural wood products.

Elka are a sub-brand of Unilin, who also boast brands such as Quick-Step and Moduleo in their stable, so you can be sure that you’re receiving a high quality laminate flooring product. Their relationship with sister brands also means that Elka laminate flooring benefits from the Uniclic fitting method, meaning the boards effortlessly click together without the need for glue. This makes installation a quick and simple process, whether you’re an experienced flooring fitter or novice DIYer.

Elka laminate is made up of four layers; a barrier layer balancing board, a HDF board, which is a moisture resistant high density fibreboard, the design layer, which expertly replicates a chosen pattern or style, and finally a transparent overlay which protects against wear and tear. With 8mm and 12mm variants available across the product range, Elka laminate boards are hard wearing no matter what thickness you opt for, and can all be installed with underfloor heating systems too.

From a longevity point of view, your Elka laminate should last long into the future, and this is supported by the brand’s generous warranty offer. Their 8mm products benefit from a 20 year residential warranty, with 12mm variants coming with a 25 years warranty, giving you peace of mind in the rare event of an issue arising.
